Relics Wanted

Embargo Lifted

Trade embargos with nearby planets have recently been lifted, leading to a new era of trading opportunities for all citizens of Garthos.

Curio items possessed by Garthos citizens may now be sold at the Bazaar.

To maintain competitive commerce, the government has implemented a law restricting the minimum listing to 1000 of a particular item.

Due to the increased available supply of curios now possible on the market, local pawn shops have been losing business, causing fluxuations in prices as the market moves.

One local pawn shop owner, put out of business by the development, told reporters, "I guess it's just progress, but I used to buy hundreds of those relics from people every day. I hope the market can keep up without me." So far, it looks like the market has kept up without him and many others, but only time will tell.

Health Inspections Completed

Health concerns that were delaying the ability to sell food at the Bazaar have been remedied, according to Garthos officials.

All citizens with at least 1000 rations in their inventories may now post listings for rations at the Bazaar with prices ranging from $0.01 to $10 each.

One local shopkeeper was delighted by the news, calling it a boon for local businesspeople.

Pirate Warning

Local officials have reported pirate activity around Garthos.

The pirates are refusing to let any ships leave the space port and have threatened to destroy any that attempt to leave orbit.

It is not clear when (or if) the pirates will be willing to negotiate, but as of now we recommend all travelers avoid leaving the surface and reschedule their travel plans for a later date, when this pirate menace has been eliminated.

Be sure to equip your weapons, as they have ALL been unequipped.
This was necessary to make a complete transition for the battle system to utilize the new item system.

-Exploration no longer gives one extra turn (used to not decrement on first click).
-Typo: Topic listing order option read the opposite way of its effect.

Development Continues

Development on the game is back in full swing.
We've completely redesigned the system that handles weapons and other items to allow for a much more robust and interesting trading system, in the future.
While we're working on that, certain things may be broken, temporarily, but we will have it all back up and running smoothly as soon as possible.
We still want to hear your suggestions, so please let us hear them.
